In our daily conversations, I found Mr. Guliyev to be a quiet, polite, hard working man. And more importantly, a man with a plan and vision.

Through hard work and foresight, he has been growing a business and team to meet the eventual retail investment needs of the middle class that does not substantially exist in Azerbaijan at the moment. But based on the success of similar developing countries, it has the likely ossibility.

However, without Azerbaijani businesses betting on a growing middle class, and preparing opportunities for regular Azerbaijani’s to invest in itself — this bed rock of all economies and democracies never will.
Mr. Guliyev properly values «time» as his most precious asset.
